Gala Dinner
The Ampere 2017 conference dinner will take place at De Lindenhof.
Around 1880 a rustic quarter was built in Delft for the personnel of the Gist and Spirits Industry. The monumental building of the Lindenhof served as a cultural centre of the quarter. Because of the impressive interior, the authentic Theater and the beautiful murals the Lindenhof has been placed on the monuments list.

Opening reception at Royal Delft
The Royal Dutch Delftware Manufactory "De Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles/Royal Delft” established in 1653, is the last remaining Delftware pottery factory from the 17th century. Here, the world renowned Royal Delftware is still entirely hand painted according to centuries-old tradition. In the showroom the visitor will find a comprehensive collection of hand painted earthenware by Royal Delft and a collection of souvenirs.

Boat tour and Reception in Town Hall Delft
The historic city centre of Delft is best discovered and contemplated from its centuries-old canals. For almost 50 years the canal cruiser boats of Rondvaart Delft have been sailing people along its canals, historic landmarks and centuries-old arched bridges.
Looking at the beautiful old town from the canals you will learn about Delft’s illustrious history in Holland and its royal connections including William of Orange, Dutch Masters Johannes Vermeer and Jan Steen, seafaring heroes Piet Hein and Maarten Tromp, Delftware, the leaning tower of Delft which is taller than the tower of Pisa and so much more.
The City Hall in Delft is a Renaissance style building on the Markt across from the New Church (Nieuwe Kerk). It is the former seat of the city's government, and still today the place where residents hold their civic wedding ceremonies. Originally designed by the Dutch architect Hendrick de Keyser, it was heavily changed over the centuries and was restored in the 20th century to its Renaissance appearance

Thousands of people have already taken part in this tile workshop, which is a true classic and is as popular as ever. The tile that you will paint during this workshop is 13 x 13 cm. Possible decoration themes include animals, sport, a classic Delft design or a zodiac sign. Of course, if you prefer you could create your own design.Including coffee/thee and ‘appelgebak’.

The Mauritshuis is home to the Best of Dutch painting from the Golden Age. The compact, yet world-renowned collection, is situated in the heart of The Hague, right next to the government centre. Masterpieces such as Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt, The Goldfinch by Fabritius and The Bull by Potter are on permanent display in the intimate rooms of this seventeenth-century monument.
More than two hundred top works from Dutch and Flemish masters are on display in the historic yet intimate interior, with its silken wall covering, sparkling chandeliers and monumental painted ceilings. Genre paintings by Jan Steen, landscapes by Jacob van Ruisdael, still lifes by Adriaen Coorte and portraits by Rubens offer a rich and varied representation of the best of seventeenth-century Dutch and Flemish painting.
The price does include the guide and transport but does not include the ticket (12,50 / 14,00 Euro) which must be paid individually in the museum.

On September 19th The Haque celebrates ‘Prinsjesdag’
“Prinsjesdag” is the day on which the reigning monarch of the Netherlands (currently King Willem-Alexander) addresses a joint session of the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives in the Hall of Knights (Dutch: Ridderzaal) in The Hague. This speech from the throne (Dutch: Troonrede) sets out the main features of government policy for the coming parliamentary year. The monarch travels accompanied by other members of the royal house to Hall of Knights in the Glass Coach escorted by court dignitaries and a military escort of honour, greeting the crowds along the way. After the speech the escort of honour again forms and the king returns to Noordeinde Palace where he and the members of the royal house traditionally salute the gathered crowd from the balcony.
The Hague can be reached from Delft by public transportation within 30 minutes.

Markthal Rotterdam
